Restaurant Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression Systems are used to extinguish fires originated in stove, fryer, oven etc. Due to highly flammable oils and greases specially developed solution is used to extinguish those fires. Restaurant Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression Systems can be activated automatically when temperature below hood reaches high levels (i.e. 360 F or higher) and melts fusible links, which activate discharge of fire extinguishing liquid. Suppression System can also be activated by manual discharge and is used by restaurant employees when they feel that there is a fire hazard condition in or around cooking equipment. Most common brands of Kitchen Suppression Systems are Ansul, Range Guard, Pyro-Chem, etc. Restaurant Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression Systems have to be inspected semi-annually.
